The Impact of Lifestyle on Life, Wellbeing, and Personal Growth

Our lifestyle, encompassing our daily routines, behaviors, and attitudes, can have profound effects on our overall wellbeing and personal growth. Conversely, excessive stress, unhealthy coping mechanisms, and social isolation can negatively affect mental health. Lifestyle choices greatly influence our productivity and ability to achieve our goals. Effective time management, setting priorities, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance are crucial factors in enhancing productivity. Our lifestyle choices impact the quality of our relationships and social connections. On the left – 2016, Anastasia travelling on her daily route from work. In the underground subway, 30-60 mints a day one-way! She is feeling exhausted and unmotivated. 

On the right – 2023, Anastasia settled down in a rural area of New Zealand, living out in safe natural environment, with her growing family, working from home and being healthy and stress-free. Once a dream, today its Anastasia’a lifestyle – enjoying life on daily basis. 

I have noticed long ago how my daily actions affect how I feel. It affects my self-confidence, my wellness.

When I lived in the city and had NO work and life balance (had to work more than live) – I was a super unhappy person. I was sick, drinking heaps alcohol, feeling anxious in my mind.

Now I am living the way I WANT.

I have resigned my office job as I did not enjoy working in the office and staying in traffic. Now I work from home, I decide when and how to work, I am much more motivated to work and I am also super healthy and happy vs past.

I have worked out the lifestyle that makes me happy.

On weekdays, this includes morning routine (exercise / good breaky / no rush anywhere / spending quality time with my family) / i work during day from my home office surrounded with things i love and I avoid toxic clients – i choose my clients 😀

I then go for a massive walk with my toddler and dogs, to keep us all happy – outdoors walks are the best source of health! Just being here and now, no phone, no distractions, I am enjoying myself and my loved ones.

In the evening we also have a routine: family time / healthy dinner / eve sleep ritual for my toddler that goes to sleep no later than 8pm since he was born (thanks to self-education I worked out a routine that became a habit for my child)

I choose to live so, because this is what makes me happy.

Read books, watch documentaries, or listen to podcasts that explore topics related to personal growth, lifestyle design, or finding purpose. Learn from the experiences of others who have created their dream lifestyles to gain new perspectives and ideas.
